Squeeze the lever at the front and the seat turns, and the manual says it MUST be rotated to reach the rear-facing belt path during installation. With the child buckled, turn it back until it clicks, then pull on the sides to confirm it is locked. The manual lists firm rules: rotate only in rear-facing mode, only when the seat is installed, never while the vehicle is moving, never store it rotated, and do not let children climb in or out of the rotated seat without help. Keep hands out from under the back of the seat while it locks.
