An infant car seat with one mode: rear-facing harness (infant carrier) 4 to 30 lb, up to 32 in.
NHTSA lists a campaign naming this model family (23C002000). I pause shopping links until I have read the campaign and checked which build dates it covers.
The Maxi-Cosi Mico Luxe is a rear-facing-only infant carrier for babies from 4 to 30 lb who are 32 inches or less. In the US it is sold inside travel systems such as the Siena CP, not on its own. Its base installs with a LATCH lower anchor belt or vehicle belt, and the manual gives an 8-year life.
The Mico Luxe makes sense only if you are buying one of the travel systems it comes in, since Maxi-Cosi has no standalone US page for it. It uses a rethread harness and a base with a recline handle. Maxi-Cosi does not publish its carrier weight, so comparing it on weight with the Mico Pro or Ambra is not possible from official sources.
A research summary of Maxi-Cosi’s published specifications and manual, read . Not a hands-on test or a crash-safety rating.
This seat covers one stage. Maxi-Cosi gives it a 8-year life from the date of manufacture, so check the date label before using a hand-me-down.

| Mode | Child weight | Child height | Minimum age | Conditions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rear-facing harness (infant carrier) | 4 to 30 lb | Up to 32 in | Not published | Rear-facing only; manual states 32 in or less in height |
A child must meet every limit for the mode they use. The labels on your seat and its manual are the final word.

Maxi-Cosi does not publish a width for this seat, so measure your back seat and compare it with the seat in a store before buying.
The base installs with its LATCH lower anchor belt or with the vehicle belt, never both. To reach the right angle, squeeze the recline handle at the front of the base and lift or lower the front. The level line must end up parallel with the ground, and the installed seat must not move more than 1 inch at the belt path. Without the base, the carrier belts in directly. The manual lists emergency locking retractor lap-only belts and inflatable seat belts as never to be used with it.

Children under 1 year must ride rear-facing, and this seat is rear-facing only. The child outgrows it at 30 lb, at 32 inches, or when the fit checks fail: the top of the head must be at least 1 inch below the top of the car seat, and the harness must be at or slightly below the shoulders. To change harness height, remove the strap loops from the splitter plate on the back, pull the straps out and rethread them into slots that line up in both the pad and the shell.

The pad and accessories are machine washed separately on a cold, gentle cycle without bleach, then tumble dried separately for 10 to 12 minutes on low heat and removed immediately. Harness straps are spot cleaned with warm sudsy water and a damp cloth and checked for wear. The canopy is hand washed with warm sudsy water and line dried. The buckle and shell are spot clean only and the buckle must not be submerged.

NHTSA currently lists one campaign naming this Maxi-Cosi family: 23C002000. A campaign names a family, not always every build, so check your seat’s model number and date of manufacture against the campaign itself.
I have not reviewed every campaign above for this model yet, so shopping links stay paused here.
The manual gives 4 to 30 lb and 32 inches or less, rear-facing only, with the head at least 1 inch below the top of the seat.

Yes, with the internal harness. The manual says to use it only on a forward-facing aircraft seat, ideally a window seat, and to ask for a belt extender if the lap belt is too short.
