The Maxi-Cosi Pria is a 3-mode all-in-one seat: rear-facing harness for 5 to 40 lb and 19 to 40 in., forward-facing harness for 30 to 65 lb and 34.4 to 49 in., and high-back booster for 40 to 100 lb and 43.4 to 52 in. Its manual sets a 10-year life from the date of manufacture.
The Pria suits parents who want the full Pria limits and no-rethread QuikFit harness without the magnetic chest clip. It shares one manual with the Pria Max and Pria Max+, so the limits, recline and 50 lb anchor rule are the same. Maxi-Cosi does not publish a width for this seat, so measure your back seat and compare it with the seat in a store before buying. It weighs 16.5 lb, which matters if you will move it between cars or carry it through an airport.

Rear-facing, you choose the vehicle belt or the lower anchor belt, never both, and keep the tether stored. The seat must be in Position 3 or 2, and the right level line must be parallel with the ground for the child's size. Forward-facing, you put it in Position 1, route the belt through the forward-facing belt path and always use the tether when anchors are available. Lower anchors are not allowed for a child over 50 lb. In both directions the seat should move no more than 1 in. at the belt path.

Rear-facing, the harness straps must be at or slightly below the shoulders, and the top of the head must be at least 1 in. below the top of the headrest. Forward-facing, the straps must be at or slightly above the shoulders, and the tops of the ears must be below the top of the headrest. The third buckle slot is not used rear-facing. For smaller infants on the lower shoulder slots, the head and body pillows must both be used and the headrest set at its lowest position.

For booster use you store the harness system. The manual says the tops of the child's ears must never be above the top of the headrest, and not to use the booster if the child's head is less than 5 in. below the roof of the car. The shoulder belt goes through the guide in the headrest and the lap belt through the booster belt path. To clean, machine wash the pad separately in cold water on a gentle cycle, with no bleach, and tumble dry separately for 10 to 12 minutes on low heat.

Each campaign naming this family was read against this model’s numbers and build dates, and none covers it. Still check your seat’s model number and date of manufacture before use, especially on a used seat.
Maxi-Cosi publishes two figures. The Pria product page lists a product weight of 12.2 lbs., while the brand's convertible comparison chart lists 16.5 lbs. I would ask Maxi-Cosi before relying on either.
The manual says not to use the lower anchors for a child weighing more than 50 lb. Above that, install with the vehicle belt and tether for a child up to 65 lb.
