The seat ships forward-facing; you squeeze a handle at the back, pull out the anti-rebound bar and turn the shell 180 degrees. The LATCH strap stores under the seat and threads through blue guides rear-facing or red guides forward-facing. LATCH is for children up to 35 lb rear-facing and 40 lb forward-facing; past that you install with a locked vehicle belt through the same colored guides. The manual says the belt guides do not replace a locking clip. Forward-facing in harness mode, the top tether is always required. In either direction, a secure seat moves no more than 1 inch near the belt anchors.
Recline positions run 1 (most upright) to 6, shown in a side window. Rear-facing, you first level the line on the base with the ground, using a rolled towel or pool noodle if needed, and the backrest then sits between 25 and 45 degrees. For newborns of 5 to 11 lb, the manual points to the green positions 5 or 6. The anti-rebound bar has 2 rear-facing positions, and pulling it out gives more leg room. The manual says not to leave the bar retracted rear-facing unless the child weighs less than 33 lb. In booster mode only recline positions 1 to 4 are allowed.
The headrest has 12 positions. Rear-facing, the straps sit at or just below the shoulders and positions 9 to 12 are off limits; forward-facing, they sit at or just above. The 3-part Tri-Stage cushion has limits: parts 1 and 2 only up to 14 lb and never forward-facing, part 3 only up to 26.5 lb. For booster mode the child must be at least 4 years old, 40 lb and 39 inches tall. You remove the pads, store the buckle tongues and chest clip in the compartment under the seat, and the lap and shoulder belt then restrains the child. LATCH can still hold the seat in place.
The manual calls the cover system Dream Trim. The central seat and headrest panels unsnap and unzip to be washed separately, without stripping the whole seat. The full cover comes off by freeing an elastic band from a groove in the shell, with care not to bend the white EPP side wings. The harness stays in the seat, and the manual says not to use water on the harness or latching mechanisms. For washing, follow the sewn-in label: no chlorine bleach, ironing, dry cleaning, solvents or tumble drying. While the cover is off, check the harness adjuster for food or debris.
No campaign in the current NHTSA child-restraint data names this model family, and I have not run a separate review for it. Check your seat’s model number and date of manufacture before use.

Yes in the rear-facing and forward-facing harness modes, installed with the aircraft lap belt. It is not certified for aircraft use in booster mode, because aircraft seats have lap belts only.

Peg Perego's product description says it fits 3 across in most vehicles, but the page gives no width figure to check against your back seat. I would measure the seating positions and ask for the seat's width before relying on that.
