Every install is a fit between one seat and one vehicle. Read both manuals, and use a free inspection station if anything is unclear.
At 17 in at its widest, this seat is one of the narrower ones in its class and is a candidate for three across in many mid-size cars. It weighs 26 lb, which matters if you will move it between cars or carry it through an airport.

Turn levers sit on each side; you slide and hold the blue trigger, pull out the gray lever and turn the seat in either direction. A turn lock indicator on the base shows green when the seat is locked and red when it is not, and the manual says to try turning the seat without the lever to confirm. Turned toward the door, the seat is not locked. The manual says never to rotate while the vehicle is moving, to let only an adult work the lever, not to rotate with a child in the seat unless it is securely installed, and to return the seat to a locked position before driving. The anti-rebound panel must always rest against the vehicle seat back.

With LATCH, which is only for a child up to 35 lb, you hook the tether to the slot on the anti-rebound panel, incline the seat to recline position 1 to reach the storage door, and route the lower anchor strap under the SnugLock lock-off and the lower belt guides. The vehicle's lower anchors must be 11 in apart, center to center. With a seat belt, both the lap and shoulder parts go under the lower belt guide and the lock-off, and the manual says to switch the retractor after installing to avoid a strangulation risk. On level ground, the blue indicator in the clear area means level for 0+ months and partly in the notched area for 3+ months. At least 80% of the base must be on the vehicle seat, and the seat must be uninstalled to change the recline.

Forward-facing, you install with the seat turned to the rear-facing position, then rotate it forward once the installation is complete. LATCH is only for a child up to 40 lb, and the seat can sit in any of the 4 recline positions. Both methods add the top tether, attached to the vehicle's tether anchor and tightened. The lock-off closes over the lower anchor strap or the seat belt, and the seat should move less than 1 in at the belt path. The manual allows a lap-only vehicle belt in harness mode, which is the only mode this seat has.

Rear-facing, the straps go at or just below the shoulders with the head at least 1 in below the headrest adjustment handle; forward-facing, at or just above the shoulders with the ears below the top of the headrest. The infant head and body supports are for children under 20 lb, rear-facing only, and the body support must be used if the shoulders are below the lowest harness setting. The pads machine wash in cold water on a delicate cycle and drip dry, with no bleach. The manual says to surface wash the buckle, harness, lower anchor strap and tether, without immersing the straps.

The manual says not to install with the lower anchors for a child over 35 lb rear-facing or over 40 lb forward-facing. Above those weights, install with the vehicle seat belt, and use the tether when forward-facing.

Graco lists the Turn2Me with the same harness limits plus a high-back booster mode for 40 to 100 lb, but says it rotates from rear-facing mode only. Graco lists it at 19.13 in wide and 30 lb.

The manual says to stop using it and throw it away 10 years after the date of manufacture, shown on a sticker on the back of the seat, and to replace it after any crash.
