At 19.5 in at its widest, measure your back seat before counting on three across. It weighs 35 lb, which matters if you will move it between cars or carry it through an airport.

The manual's preferred method is the vehicle lap/shoulder belt, with lower anchors and a lap belt only as alternatives. CYBEX recommends a tether both rear-facing and forward-facing with either method. Lower anchors are limited to children up to 30 lb rear-facing and 35 lb forward-facing. In a center seat, the inner anchors of the outboard seats can be used only if they are 11 to 20 in apart and the vehicle maker allows it. Before each use, the seat must not move more than 1 inch at the belt path; if it does, try again or move it to another seating position.
Pull the rotation handle on either side and the seat turns in its base to a loading position. The manual says that position is only for putting the child in or taking them out. Before driving, the seat must be locked rear-facing or forward-facing and set in the recline zone for the child's weight, shown by the recline indicator arrow. That applies even when the seat is empty. The headrest has 12 positions and moves the harness without rethreading: at or just below the shoulders rear-facing, at or just above them forward-facing, with the chest clip at armpit level.
With the seat forward-facing, loosen the harness, raise the headrest to the top and remove the canopy. The buckle strap comes out and is stored under the base; the harness straps, shoulder pads and buckle tongues tuck inside the side wings under the cover. The child must be 4 years or older, 40 to 120 lb and 44 to 57 in, with ears below the headrest. Only a lap/shoulder belt holds the child, never a lap belt alone. The tether and lower anchors may hold the booster only if they do not change its position or the belt fit.
CYBEX says the fabric covers can be machine washed separately in cold water on a delicate cycle, without bleach, and drip dried. Harness straps are spot cleaned only, and plastic parts are wiped. The two cup holders go on the top rack of the dishwasher. The infant insert has two pieces: a seat pad used up to 11 lbs with its foam wedge or up to 20 lbs without it, and a head pad used up to 20 lbs. The box contains the seat with SensorSafe, the infant insert and a sun canopy.
No campaign in the current NHTSA child-restraint data names this model family, and I have not run a separate review for it. Check your seat’s model number and date of manufacture before use.

Yes with the harness, but not in booster mode, which needs a lap/shoulder belt that aircraft do not have. The manual places it in a window seat with the aircraft belt over the top of the SafeLock belt tensioner, and forward-facing use is rotated back toward the aisle to clear aircraft panels and fixed armrests.
