A rotating all-in-one car seat with 3 modes: rear-facing harness 4 to 50 lb, up to 43.3 in; forward-facing harness 26.5 to 65 lb, 33 to 49.2 in; belt-positioning booster (high-back) 40 to 120 lb, 44 to 57 in.

Who is the Callisto T 360 for?
The CYBEX Callisto T 360 is a rotating all-in-one seat with a SensorSafe chest clip. The manual rates it rear-facing from 4 to 50 lb and below 43.3 inches, forward-facing from 26.5 to 65 lb for a child at least 1 year old, and as a high-back booster from 40 to 120 lb. It expires after 10 years.
Reasons to consider it
Rear-facing up to 50 lb, while the head stays 1 inch or more below the top of the shell or headrest
A SensorSafe chest clip that works with the CYBEX Mobile App
Easy-In pads that hold the harness open while you place the child
Infant insert and sun canopy included, per CYBEX's list of contents
Things to weigh up
Lower anchors stop at 25 lb rear-facing and 30 lb forward-facing
CYBEX requires the tether in both directions whenever the vehicle has a tether anchor
At 40 lb forward-facing, pads and the backrest foam insert have to be changed or removed
CYBEX lists it at 35 lbs and 19.5 in wide
My take on the Callisto T 360
It suits a family that wants a 50 lb rear-facing limit, a rotating seat and phone alerts from the chest clip. The trade-offs are a 35 lbs, 19.5 in wide seat and lower anchor limits of 25 lb rear-facing and 30 lb forward-facing, after which you install it with the seat belt. The Callisto G 360 Select allows lower anchors to higher weights, but has no SensorSafe and no canopy in the box.

Who the Callisto T 360 fits
This seat covers 3 stages, and a child has to meet every limit of the stage they are in. Cybex gives it a 10-year life from the date of manufacture, so check the date label before using a hand-me-down.
Rear-facing harness4 to 50 lb · Up to 43.3 in
The child faces the back of the car, which keeps the head, neck and spine supported in a frontal crash. Keep this mode as long as the child fits it.
Forward-facing harness26.5 to 65 lb · 33 to 49.2 in · from 12 months
The child faces forward in the seat’s own harness. Use the top tether every time, and stay in the harness until the child outgrows it.
Belt-positioning booster (high-back)40 to 120 lb · 44 to 57 in · from 4 years
The seat’s own back and belt guide route the vehicle belt across the shoulder, and the sides give the child something to lean on when they sleep.

How the Callisto T 360 installs
Recline
5 recline positions. The recline angle is what keeps a young baby’s airway open, so set it before tightening the install.
Harness
QuickSpring harness. Check the harness height at each growth spurt: at or below the shoulders rear-facing, at or above them forward-facing.
Every install is a fit between one seat and one vehicle. Read both manuals, and use a free inspection station if anything is unclear.
Will it fit your car?
At 19.5 in at its widest, measure your back seat before counting on three across. It weighs 35 lb, which matters if you will move it between cars or carry it through an airport.
Check your vehicle manual for lower anchor positions and any head-restraint rules.
Rear-facing seats need front-seat room: try the install behind the driver before you commit.
Certified for aircraft use, so it can travel as a seat rather than checked baggage.

What to know before you live with it
Installing it, with or without a tether anchor
The lap and shoulder belt is the preferred method. You rotate the seat rear-facing, set it fully upright and route the belt under the SafeLock Belt Tensioner across the blue belt path. This manual says CYBEX requires the tether rear- and forward-facing, both with lower anchors and with the belt when the vehicle has a tether anchor. Without an anchor there is a separate procedure: only the lap belt goes under the tensioner. Shoulder pad rules also change without a tether: no Easy-In shoulder pads under 40 lb and no regular shoulder pads at 40 lb or more. A lap-belt-only method is also covered.
The infant insert has a head pad for use up to 20 lb and a seat pad for up to 11 lb with its foam wedge, or 20 lb without it. Easy-In shoulder pads, hip pads and a buckle pad hold the harness open so the straps do not fall under the child. Once the child is forward-facing and reaches 40 lb, the manual says to swap in the standard shoulder pads, remove the hip pads and take out the backrest foam insert. The headrest moves through 12 positions without rethreading. Recline is set by weight with the indicator arrow inside the correct zone.
The chest clip pairs with the CYBEX Mobile App, which gives a reminder that the child is still in the vehicle, an alert if the clip opens while driving, and the vehicle's interior temperature. Harness use is certified for aircraft. On a plane the belt goes over the top of the tensioner, and the manual says to unfasten the SensorSafe clip for taxi, takeoff and landing. Booster mode is not certified for aircraft. The main cover machine washes separately in cold water on a delicate cycle and drip dries. Harness and hip pads are spot clean only, and the harness straps should never be removed.
CYBEX lists the Callisto G 360 Select at 21.7 in long, 19.5 in wide, 25.5 - 35 in tall and 35 lbs. Its page gives 4 to 65 lbs in harness mode and up to 120 lbs as a booster, with the same 12-position headrest and no-rethread harness. Its box contains the seat, an infant seat pad and a user guide, with no sun canopy. If you want the app alerts, the T 360 adds them; if you would rather use lower anchors for longer, compare the Select's manual limits before buying.
No campaign in the current NHTSA child-restraint data names this model family, and I have not run a separate review for it. Check your seat’s model number and date of manufacture before use.
How long can my child ride rear-facing in the Callisto T 360?
Until they reach 50 lb or 43.3 inches, or until the top of the head is less than 1 inch below the top of the shell or headrest, whichever comes first. Harness straps must sit at or just below the shoulders.
Forward-facing with the harness is 26.5 to 65 lb and 33 to 49.2 inches, for a child at least 1 year old. Booster mode is 40 to 120 lb and 44 to 57 inches, for a child 4 years or older, with the vehicle lap and shoulder belt.
Above 25 lb rear-facing or 30 lb forward-facing. After that, install it with the vehicle lap and shoulder belt, plus the tether when the vehicle has a tether anchor.
With the internal harness, yes; the manual says it is certified for aircraft and gives a window-seat installation. Booster mode is not certified for aircraft, because it needs a lap and shoulder belt.
CYBEX says the Bluetooth clip sends alerts to your phone if the child unbuckles, the temperature becomes unsafe or the child is left unattended, and can notify emergency contacts with your location.

Before you buy
Weigh and measure your child. The limits above are the manufacturer’s, and a child has to meet all of them for the mode they will use.
Confirm the exact version. Colors, retail exclusives and model numbers change limits more often than you would expect; Cybex lists 5 colors of this seat.
Read the manual before you buy, not after. It is linked above and holds the fit rules, the install methods and the expiry.
Check recalls by model number and date of manufacture, and register the seat with Cybex so you hear about the next one.
