Evenflo says the removable canopy helps shield the child from the sun while rear-facing. The Spanish manual linked from this page limits the canopy to rear-facing mode: it snaps into the seat shell, slides over the back of the shell and fastens with hook-and-loop, with the fabric fitted around the bubble level. Using the canopy limits the headrest to its lowest 5 positions, so a taller rear-facing child may need it removed.

The Spanish manual says not to use the lower anchors for a child over 40 lb with the internal harness; use the vehicle belt instead. With the internal harness, the seat is certified for motor vehicles and aircraft. In booster mode it is certified only for vehicles with lap and shoulder belts and is not certified for aircraft, since aircraft do not have that belt type.

Evenflo's care instructions for this listing say to machine wash the seat pad separately in cold water on a delicate cycle and tumble dry 10 to 15 minutes on low heat. Wipe plastic, metal and the harness with mild soap and water, and let the harness air dry. To clean the crotch buckle, place it in a cup of warm water, move it back and forth and press the red button several times. Do not use soap, detergent or lubricant on the buckle.

On 2026-10-07 the product page linked only a Spanish manual. I would ask Evenflo for the English version before installing, rather than rely on the manual for another listing.
