The Graco SnugRide SnugFit LX is a rear-facing-only infant seat that Graco lists for 4 to 30 lb and up to 32 in, with the head at least 1 in below the top. Its base has a SnugLock lock-off, InRight LATCH, an anti-rebound bar and 5 recline positions, and the seat expires after 7 years.
The SnugFit LX suits parents who want the SnugLock base and anti-rebound bar but not the DLX additions. Graco lists its carrier at 9.0 lb, against 9.8 lb for the SnugFit DLX, whose page adds the Rapid Remove seat pad. The plain SnugFit is lighter at 8.4 lb but has no lock-off, and its base has 4 recline positions instead of 5.

This seat covers one stage. Graco gives it a 7-year life from the date of manufacture, so check the date label before using a hand-me-down.

A child must meet every limit for the mode they use. The labels on your seat and its manual are the final word.
Every install is a fit between one seat and one vehicle. Read both manuals, and use a free inspection station if anything is unclear.

At 17.5 in at its widest, this seat is one of the narrower ones in its class and is a candidate for three across in many mid-size cars. It weighs 9 lb, which matters if you will move it between cars or carry it through an airport.
Pierce, Nash.
The base installs with the LATCH strap or the vehicle seat belt, never both. You push it back until the anti-rebound bar touches the vehicle seat back, open the SnugLock lock-off, and route the strap, or the lap part of the belt, through the rear-facing belt path with the blue label, above the notches near the lock-off. Press down on the base while removing the slack, then close the lock-off until it clicks; the manual says the retractor does not need switching when the lock-off holds the belt. A center seat may take LATCH only if the vehicle manual allows it and the anchors are 11 in or more apart. At least 80% of the base must be on the vehicle seat, with less than 1 in of movement at the belt path. The manual gives no separate child-weight limit for the lower anchors.
The base has 5 recline positions, set by squeezing the recline lever and lifting the base to extend the foot. On level ground, the bubble must be entirely under the light blue line for infants 0+ months or entirely under the dark blue line for 3+ months; otherwise the seat is not level. A rolled towel may go under the fully extended foot if needed. Without the base, the red level line on the side of the carrier must be level with the ground, with rolled towels at the seat crease if needed.
Harness straps go at or just below the shoulders, and the top of the head must be at least 1 in below the top of the seat. To change harness height, you take the baby out, loosen the straps, squeeze the headrest adjustment button and move the headrest. For smaller babies, the headrest flap can be tucked under the support. For low birth weight infants, the crotch strap clip can go into the front slot in the shell without passing through the pad. The body support is only for infants 12 lb or less. The handle has 4 positions and must be upright in position A when carrying.
To remove the pad, you undo the fastening strips holding the canopy, press the release button on each canopy arm, pull the headrest pad away, unfasten the 4 snaps and pull out the 4 plastic flaps at the sides. The pad and canopy are machine washed in cold water with gentle soap on a delicate cycle and drip dried, with no bleach. The buckle is swished in a cup of warm water while pressing the red button, without soap and without submerging its strap. The harness and LATCH strap are surface washed only.
Each campaign naming this family was read against this model’s numbers and build dates, and none covers it. Still check your seat’s model number and date of manufacture before use, especially on a used seat.
Graco's product page lists rear-facing use only, from 4 to 30 lb and up to 32 in, with the head at least 1 in below the top of the seat. If the labels on your seat show a different limit, follow the labels.
Graco lists the carrier at 9.0 lb without the base and 16.4 lb with it, and the seat at 17.5 in wide, 25.5 in high and 27.5 in deep. These are Graco's figures, not my measurements.
The carrier can. The manual certifies it for aircraft only without the base, on forward-facing aircraft seats, following the vehicle lap belt installation. The base is not certified for aircraft.

Graco lists the SnugFit DLX with the same limits, SnugLock, InRight LATCH, anti-rebound bar and 5-position base, plus a Rapid Remove seat pad, with a 9.8 lb carrier and 17.24 lb with the base.

Graco lists the plain SnugFit with the same limits and an anti-rebound bar, but a 4-position base with a pendulum level indicator, no SnugLock, and an 8.4 lb carrier.
The manual says to stop using it and throw it away 7 years after the date of manufacture, shown on a label on the back of the seat, and to replace it after any crash.
