The Britax UpNGo is a backless belt-positioning booster for children 40 to 120 lb and 46 to 63 in. It weighs 3.1 lb and measures 17.1 in wide. It uses only the vehicle lap and shoulder belt, in a seat with a head restraint. A shoulder belt guide is included, and the manual sets a 10-year life.
It suits a child who already fits a backless booster, and a family that moves the booster between cars or needs a narrow seat. The trade-off is that nothing holds it to the car, so it must be buckled in when empty. The UpNGo Click lists the same dimensions and adds rigid LATCH connectors, and Britax lists it at 4.5 lb against 3.1 lb for this model.

This seat covers one stage. Britax gives it a 10-year life from the date of manufacture, so check the date label before using a hand-me-down.

A child must meet every limit for the mode they use. The labels on your seat and its manual are the final word.

At 17.1 in at its widest, this seat is one of the narrower ones in its class and is a candidate for three across in many mid-size cars. It weighs 3.1 lb, which matters if you will move it between cars or carry it through an airport.
Raven Black.
There is no installation step. Put the booster in a seating position with a vehicle head restraint and sit the child on it. Route the lap part of the belt under both armrests and the shoulder part behind the armrest on the buckle side, buckle, check that the belt is not twisted, and remove slack. The lap belt should rest low on the upper thighs and the shoulder belt across the middle of the chest, at or above the shoulder. The base must sit flat on the vehicle seat with no overhang, side overhang included.

If the shoulder belt does not lie flat across the shoulder and chest, the manual says the shoulder belt guide is needed. Thread its loop end through the carry handle, pass the clip and strap through the loop, and pull it tight. After buckling, slide the guide onto the shoulder belt and adjust its length so it sits at the top of the child's shoulder. When it is not in use, store it somewhere safe.

The manual tells parents to consider a child's developmental and behavioral readiness before moving to a backless booster, and points to NHTSA's car seat guidance. The fit checks apply every ride: 40 to 120 lb, 46 to 63 in, ears below the vehicle head restraint and the belt lying correctly. Lap-only belts, motorized belts and lap-shoulder belts anchored on the door are not compatible, and neither are inflatable lap-shoulder belts.

The cover comes off by unhooking two elastic loops at the front and untucking the fabric from under the belt path. Follow the care label, and do not bleach or iron. Sponge clean the shell with warm water and mild soap. The cup holders are dishwasher safe, top shelf only. Stop using the booster when it is older than 10 years or after a moderate or severe crash. Britax's product page does not show the expiration; the manual does.

No campaign in the current NHTSA child-restraint data names this model family, and I have not run a separate review for it. Check your seat’s model number and date of manufacture before use.

The manual says to secure the empty booster by fastening the vehicle seat belt across it. It has no lower anchor connectors, so an unbuckled booster can move in a crash and injure someone.
No. The manual says it is not certified for aircraft because aircraft do not have shoulder belts.
The manual says to stop using it when it is older than 10 years or after a moderate or severe crash. The expiration date is on the serial number and manufactured date label.
The UpNGo Click lists the same 40 to 120 lb and 46" to 63" range and the same 15.5"L x 17.1"W x 9"H dimensions, adds steel rigid LATCH connectors, and Britax lists it at 4.5 lb.
