The Britax Grow With You ClickTight is a forward-facing combination seat. In harness mode it fits children at least 2 years old, 30 to 65 lb and 35 to 49 in. As a high-back booster it fits 40 to 120 lb and 44 to 63 in. It installs with ClickTight and expires 9 years after manufacture.
It suits a family moving a child out of a rear-facing seat who wants one seat to carry on into the booster years, with the vehicle belt clamped under ClickTight. The trade-off is size and weight: Britax lists it at 25 lb and 21" x 19" x 25", and it never faces the rear. The plain Grow With You has no ClickTight and Britax lists it at 23 lb. Its manual allows lower anchors up to 45 lb, where this one stops at 40 lb.

This seat covers 2 stages, and a child has to meet every limit of the stage they are in. Britax gives it a 9-year life from the date of manufacture, so check the date label before using a hand-me-down.

Every install is a fit between one seat and one vehicle. Read both manuals, and use a free inspection station if anything is unclear.
Britax does not publish a width for this seat, so measure your back seat and compare it with the seat in a store before buying. It weighs 25 lb, which matters if you will move it between cars or carry it through an airport.

In harness mode the manual calls the lap-shoulder belt with ClickTight the preferred method. You squeeze the release levers to open ClickTight, route the belt along the green belt path, buckle, remove slack from the lap part and then the shoulder part, and close ClickTight until it clicks. Overtightening the belt can stop ClickTight from securing. The seat is installed when it moves no more than 1 in. side to side or front to back at the belt path. Lower anchor attachments also run under ClickTight, but only for children up to 40 lb. Britax recommends using the tether every time.
The harness height adjuster moves the harness and head restraint together. Set the straps at the closest position at or above the shoulders, and keep the top of the ears below the top of the head restraint. Children from 30 to 40 lb may ride upright or reclined; from 40 to 65 lb the seat must be upright. If the vehicle head restraint stops the seat's head restraint from rising, the manual says not to force it: raise or remove the vehicle head restraint, set the seat upright, or try another seating position. Up to 3 in. of the base may hang over the front of the vehicle seat in harness mode, but none in booster mode.
Britax recommends booster mode only after the child outgrows the harness. The harness does not have to be removed; the manual shows how to store it and the buckle in the seat. In booster mode the vehicle lap and shoulder belt holds the child, with the shoulder belt through the red guide and the lap belt under the armrests, low on the upper thighs. Lower anchors may hold the seat in place if they do not spoil belt fit, and the tether can only be used together with them. Never use a lap-only belt, and keep the seat buckled or anchored when it is empty.
The manual says to follow the cover's care label, and to check Britax's FAQ before machine washing. Do not bleach or iron the cover. Sponge clean the harness and the shell with warm water and mild soap and towel dry; the harness must not be machine washed or machine dried. Rinse the buckle in warm water without soap, then test that it clicks with each tongue. Stop using the seat 9 years after manufacture, or after a moderate or severe crash. The date is on the serial number label on the shell.
No campaign in the current NHTSA child-restraint data names this model family, and I have not run a separate review for it. Check your seat’s model number and date of manufacture before use.

Yes, in harness mode only. Install it forward-facing and upright with the aircraft lap belt along the green belt path and ClickTight closed; the tether cannot be used. Booster mode is not certified because aircraft have no shoulder belts.

Britax's product page describes a removable SafeWash cover that is safe to machine wash and dry, and marks some high-performance fabrics as select fashions only. I would check the care label on your own cover first.

Britax says to stop using it when it is older than 9 years or after a moderate or severe crash. The expiration date is on the serial number and manufactured date label.
