The Nautilus 2.0 LX is a forward-facing harness booster for children 26.5 to 65 lb, 27 to 49 in and at least one year old. It then becomes a highback booster from 40 to 100 lb or a backless booster from 40 to 120 lb, for 43 to 57 in and age 4 or older. It expires after 10 years.
It suits a child who has finished rear-facing and a family that wants one seat through the backless booster stage, which Graco rates to 120 lb. It installs with push-in InRight LATCH connectors, limited to 45 lb in harness mode. At 19.4 in at its widest, measure your back seat before counting on three across. It weighs 17.4 lb, which matters if you will move it between cars or carry it through an airport.

In harness mode the child must be 26.5 to 65 lb, 27 to 49 in and at least one year old. You can install with LATCH or the vehicle belt, and the manual says not to use LATCH for a child over 45 lb. Choose one of the four recline positions by pulling the recline handle and tilting the seat. Lower anchor connectors can only be used if the vehicle anchors are 11 in apart, center to center. Attach and tighten the tether, and check that the seat moves no more than 1 in at the belt path.
To switch to booster mode, you take the harness straps out of the T-slots and store them in a safe place. In the highback booster, the shoulder belt runs through the guide on the headrest. LATCH can hold the booster in place up to 100 lb, only if the vehicle manufacturer allows it, and the lap and shoulder belt always holds the child. For the backless booster, you lower the seat back flat, squeeze the 2 buttons near the seat crease and slide the backrest out of the base. Over 100 lb the manual says the child must use backless mode.
The manual says to check the seat pad care tag. The headrest pad, upper backrest pad, backrest pad and seat pad each come off with snaps, elastic loops or tabs; for the headrest and backrest pads you raise the headrest to its highest position first. Machine wash pads in cold water on a delicate cycle and drip-dry, without bleach. The harness, lower anchor and tether straps are surface wash only and must not be immersed. Clean the buckle in warm water without soap, detergent or lubricant, and do not submerge the buckle strap.
