The MyFit Air ClearTex suits a family that wants the MyFit ClearTex's harness-to-booster range with moisture-wicking fabric, mesh panels and a flex-forward crotch buckle that stays out of the way when loading. Chicco lists the same 17.5 in width, 25 lb weight and 9 headrest positions as the MyFit ClearTex. One caution: its own specification table gives different minimums from its usage text and manual, so I would follow the manual.

Chicco's page lists moisture-wicking fabrics and mesh panels for airflow, and a flex-forward crotch buckle that stays out of the way when loading. It uses ClearTex flame retardant-free materials, is GREENGUARD Gold certified and has a zippered seat pad for reaching the belt paths, plus wipeable leatherette armrests. The page also lists a 4-position recline, 9 headrest positions, LockSure lock-offs, Standard LATCH and two dishwasher-safe cup holders.

Set the seat with the installation lines on its base parallel to the vehicle seat and recline until the bubble is between the lines; on a slope, use only position 3 or 4. For LATCH, unzip the side of the seat pad, lift the zip-on headrest pad and take the straps from the storage compartment. LATCH is not allowed for a child over 40 lb, and the top tether is always used when your car has an anchor. For the seat belt, route it through the red path behind the backrest, buckle it, close the zipper and slide the shoulder belt into the lock-off.
The headrest has 9 positions and the harness sits at or just above the shoulders. The chest clip pads must always be used in harness mode. The flex-forward crotch pad slides over the buckle, its winged base goes down behind the buckle, and a snap on its strap holds it in place; it comes off for booster mode. Booster setup stores the chest clip and buckle tongues in a compartment at the bottom of the seat back and the crotch buckle beside the crotch strap slots. On a plane, the seat is certified in harness mode only.
Soft goods can be hand washed, or machine washed cold on a delicate cycle with mild detergent, then hung to dry. Shoulder pads are hand washed. The manual says not to remove the harness straps, chest clip or chest clip pads, and to spot clean the pads with warm water and mild soap. LATCH and adjuster straps and the buckle get warm water only. The cup holders can go on the top rack of a dishwasher. No bleach, solvents or household cleaners, and never use the seat without its pad.
Each campaign naming this family was read against this model’s numbers and build dates, and none covers it. Still check your seat’s model number and date of manufacture before use, especially on a used seat.

Yes, in harness mode only, on forward-facing aircraft seats, with the lap belt through the red harness-mode path. Booster mode is not certified for aircraft because planes have no lap-shoulder belts.
