My take on the Disney Baby Finale 2-in-1 Booster Car Seat (BC209)
The Finale suits an older, heavier child who still needs a harness and will move to a high-back booster later. Harness mode starts at 40 lb and 43.4 in, LATCH stops at a 50 lb child, and there is no backless mode. The Grand 2-in-1 page lists the same limits but links no manual.

What to know before you live with it
Harness mode and the 50 lb LATCH limit
The manual lists harness mode at 40 to 65 lb and 43.4 to 49 in. It offers 3 installs: lap and shoulder belt with tether or lap belt with tether, both for a child up to 65 lb, and the lower anchor belt with tether, which must not be used for a child over 50 lb. When anchors are available, the tether must always be attached. The seat should not move more than 1 in at the belt path. The tops of the ears must be below the top of the seat.
Booster mode is 40 to 100 lb and 43.4 to 52 in. The harness system is removed and stored on the seat, and the lower anchor belt and tether go to their storage spots, because the manual says not to use LATCH in booster mode. Use only the vehicle lap and shoulder belt. The lap belt goes under both armrests, and the shoulder belt only under the armrest on the buckle side. Do not use it if the child's head is less than 5 in below the roof, or if the tops of the ears are above the headrest.
The harness system must come out before the pad can be removed. Machine wash the pad and accessories separately in cold water on a gentle cycle without bleach, and tumble dry 10 to 12 minutes on low heat. Spot clean the harness straps. The cup holder is top-rack dishwasher safe and pushes onto the end of an armrest. A date of manufacture label is on the side of the seat, and it should not be used more than 10 years after that date. It is certified for aircraft use only with the internal harness, on forward-facing aircraft seats.

Disney Baby Finale 2-in-1 Booster Car Seat (BC209): common questions
What are the Finale BC209 limits?
The manual gives 40 to 65 lb and 43.4 to 49 in for harness mode, and 40 to 100 lb and 43.4 to 52 in for booster mode. The child moves on when they outgrow any one limit or fit requirement.
Only in harness mode, with the tether, and only for a child up to 50 lb. Above that, install with the vehicle belt and tether, and in booster mode store the lower anchor belt.
The manual says it is certified for aircraft use when used with the internal harness. It is not certified as a booster, because aircraft seats do not have shoulder belts.
How does the Finale compare with the Grand 2-in-1?
The Grand page lists the same 2 modes and figures: 40 to 65 lb and 43.4 to 49 in with the harness, 40 to 100 lb and 43.4 to 52 in as a booster. It links no user guide.

Before you buy
Weigh and measure your child. The limits above are the manufacturer’s, and a child has to meet all of them for the mode they will use.
Confirm the exact version. Colors, retail exclusives and model numbers change limits more often than you would expect; Safety 1st lists 2 colors of this seat.
Read the manual before you buy, not after. It is linked above and holds the fit rules, the install methods and the expiry.
Check recalls by model number and date of manufacture, and register the seat with Safety 1st so you hear about the next one.
