The QuickFit (CC448) is an all-in-one seat: rear-facing from 5 to 40 lb and 19 to 40 in., forward-facing with the harness from 30 to 65 lb and 34.4 to 49 in., and a booster from 40 to 100 lb and 43.4 to 52 in. The manual allows lower anchors forward-facing up to 55 lb and sets a 10-year life.
It suits a family that wants a no-rethread harness in a plainer package. Its manual uses two rear-facing level lines matched to the child's size and keeps forward-facing and booster use fully upright. The Grow and Go (CC409) lists the same ranges, but the QuickFit page does not list the harness holders or grow-with-baby pillows that page describes.

This seat covers 3 stages, and a child has to meet every limit of the stage they are in. Safety 1st gives it a 10-year life from the date of manufacture, so check the date label before using a hand-me-down.

A child must meet every limit for the mode they use. The labels on your seat and its manual are the final word.
Every install is a fit between one seat and one vehicle. Read both manuals, and use a free inspection station if anything is unclear.
Safety 1st does not publish a width for this seat, so measure your back seat and compare it with the seat in a store before buying.

The QuickFit has two rear-facing level lines. For a child 5 to 30 lb and 19 to 34.3 in., the bottom line must be parallel with the ground. For a child 30 to 40 lb and 34.4 to 40 in. who can sit up unassisted, the top line applies. Use recline Position 3 or 2 to get there; never Position 1 rear-facing. If needed, the manual allows a tightly rolled towel or foam pool noodle under the front of the base, checked often. The top of the child's head must be at least 1 in. below the top of the headrest, with the straps at or slightly below the shoulders.

Forward-facing, the seat goes in Position 1, fully upright, with its base flat on the vehicle seat. There are two methods, never combined: the vehicle belt with the tether for a child up to 65 lb, or the lower anchor belt with the tether, which must not be used for a child over 55 lb. The tether must always be attached when an anchor is available. The seat should not move more than 1 in. side to side at the belt path. The child's ears must be below the top of the headrest, with the straps at or slightly above the shoulders.

To make the booster, the manual has you remove and store the buckle, raise the headrest to its highest position, thread the harness straps into the slots on the sides of the headrest, and place the chest clip, straps and buckle tongues behind the headrest and seat pad. Booster mode uses Position 1 and only the vehicle lap and shoulder belt. The lower anchor belt and tether stay stored. The tops of the child's ears must not be above the top of the headrest, and the child's head must be at least 5 in. below the vehicle roof.

The pad comes off without removing the harness, but the straps must stay in the hip slots. Machine wash the pad and accessories separately in cold water on a gentle cycle with the harness cover fastening strips closed, no bleach, and tumble dry separately for 10 to 12 minutes on low heat. The cup holders are top-rack dishwasher safe. The seat must not be used more than 10 years after the date of manufacture. It is certified for aircraft with the internal harness, on forward-facing aircraft seats only, and not as a booster.

No campaign in the current NHTSA child-restraint data names this model family, and I have not run a separate review for it. Check your seat’s model number and date of manufacture before use.

Forward-facing, the manual says not to install with the lower anchor belt for a child weighing more than 55 lb. Use the vehicle belt with the tether from there to 65 lb.
