The trade-off is size: it is the wide version of the 4Ever DLX. The 4Ever DLX Slim lists the same four modes and limits in a narrower shell and adds SnugLock installation, so the standard DLX makes most sense when back-seat width is not the constraint.

At 21.5 in at its widest, measure your back seat before counting on three across. It weighs 23 lb, which matters if you will move it between cars or carry it through an airport.

Rear-facing uses recline position 1, 2 or 3, and the level indicator bubble must sit fully in the blue zone with the vehicle on level ground. You install with either the lower anchor strap or the vehicle belt through the belt path with the blue label, never both. The lower anchor connectors only fit vehicles with 11 in (28 cm) anchor spacing, and the base must be at least 80% on the vehicle seat. The seat insert must be installed for rear-facing use. The seat should move less than 1 in at the belt path, and the manual says to recheck the level with the child in the seat.
Forward-facing with the harness covers 26.5 to 65 lb and 49 in or less. Children 40 lb or less ride in recline position 4 or 5 with the seat insert installed. Above 40 lb, the manual requires position 6 and removing the insert. InRight LATCH is not used for a child over 45 lb, so heavier children need the vehicle belt and the tether. For a belt install, both the lap and shoulder belt can go under the built-in lock-off, which sits under the seat back pad. Without the lock-off, you lock the vehicle belt at its retractor instead.
Both booster modes need a child at least 4 years old and 43 to 57 in tall, held by the vehicle lap and shoulder belt. The high-back booster is rated 40 to 100 lb and the backless booster 40 to 120 lb, and the seat insert must come out. The harness stores in a compartment under the seat pad. For backless mode, you lift the red backrest locks in recline position 6 and lift the seat back off the base. In high-back booster mode, LATCH may also hold the seat up to 100 lb, but only if the vehicle maker allows it. A belt positioning clip helps the shoulder belt fit in backless mode.
Graco calls the cover the RapidRemove seat pad. The main pad unsnaps from the side pad, its plastic tabs pull out of the armrests, and fastening strips release it. The front seat pad, side pads and top pad come off with elastic straps and fastening strips. Each machine washes in cold water on a delicate cycle and drip-dries, with no bleach. The seat insert and headrest pad are cleaned with a damp sponge, mild soap and cool water. The buckle is swished in warm water without soap, and the harness, lower anchor and tether straps are only surface washed, never immersed.
