The Graco 4Ever DLX Slim 4-in-1 is an all-in-one seat Graco lists at 18.9 in wide. It is used rear-facing from 4 to 40 lb, forward-facing with the harness from 26.5 to 65 lb, as a high-back booster to 100 lb and as a backless booster to 120 lb. It expires 10 years after manufacture.
It suits a family that wants the 4Ever range in a narrower shell, for a smaller back seat or a seat next to another child. Its main addition is SnugLock, with separate rear-facing and forward-facing lock-offs that close over either the lower anchor strap or the vehicle belt. Against the standard 4Ever DLX, the limits are the same, but Graco lists it at 18.9 in wide against 21.5 in, and at 27.5 lb against 23 lb.

This seat covers 4 stages, and a child has to meet every limit of the stage they are in. Graco gives it a 10-year life from the date of manufacture, so check the date label before using a hand-me-down.

At 18.9 in at its widest, measure your back seat before counting on three across. It weighs 27.5 lb, which matters if you will move it between cars or carry it through an airport.

The SnugLock lock-offs sit under the seat pad, one for rear-facing and one for forward-facing. For a LATCH install, you open the lock-off, route the lower anchor strap under it, connect to the vehicle anchors and press down in the center of the seat while tightening. Then you close the lock-off until it clicks. With the vehicle belt, the lap and shoulder belt both go under the lock-off before it closes. The manual warns to keep hands away from the lock-off when closing it and not to pull the strap with excessive force. The seat must move less than 1 in at the belt path.
Rear-facing uses one of three rear-facing recline positions, with the level indicator bubble in the blue area and the vehicle on level ground. Harness straps sit at or just below the shoulders, and the head must stay at least 1 in below the headrest adjustment handle. Forward-facing, children under 40 lb use recline position 4 or 5 and children over 40 lb position 6. The seat insert must be used for children 40 lb or less and removed above 40 lb. The infant head support and body support are rear-facing only, for children under 20 lb.
Both booster modes need a child at least 4 years old and 43 to 57 in tall: 40 to 100 lb high-back and 40 to 120 lb backless. If the vehicle maker allows LATCH in booster mode, the lower anchor connectors and the tether must be used together, up to 100 lb, and the vehicle belt still holds the child. In backless mode the seat stays in recline position 6, pushed back until it touches the vehicle seat back. On a plane it is certified only in harness mode without the lock-off, with the aircraft belt routed over it.
No campaign in the current NHTSA child-restraint data names this model family, and I have not run a separate review for it. Check your seat’s model number and date of manufacture before use.

Graco lists the regular 4Ever DLX at 21.5 in wide and 23 lb, with the same 4 to 40 lb rear-facing and 26.5 to 65 lb forward-facing limits. It uses InRight LATCH and an integrated belt lock-off rather than SnugLock.
Only in harness mode, on a forward-facing aircraft seat, and only without using the SnugLock lock-off. It is not certified for aircraft as a booster, because planes have no shoulder belts.
